Governor Mifflin Music Association Events
Corporate Sponsorship Drive - At the beginning of each school year, we roll out our corporate sponsor drive. Corporate sponsors are given ad space in our event programs (Strike Up the Bands, Pops Concert, and the Indoor Percussion/Guard Show) for their donations. Students who obtain the donations have a portion of the donation placed in their student account.
GMMA Food Trucks - At each home football game, volunteers run the food truck and snow cone concessions.
GMMA Project Sales - Shirts, magnets, and lollypops are available for sale at each of the home football games.
Strike Up the Bands - Typically the first Saturday in November, this event is one of the largest events and fundraisers for GMMA and has been held for over 40 years! The event typically draws over a dozen surrounding area marching bands for a full day of competition.
Craft Fair/Holiday Bazaar - Typically held in late November or early December, this event is manned by student volunteers and includes dozens of local vendors and crafters.
Pops Concert - Typically held on the first Saturday in March, this event is a showcase of music programs from elementary through high school, with performances of pop culture music by each of the school's various performance groups.
Indoor Percussion - In 2025, we are hosting our first Indoor show.
